Japanese sencha is a bit more complex – there is more going on in it than in Chinese sencha.
And this one is even BETTER because premium means more, so the teas in this series have more complexity and offer more interesting taste sensations – treat yourself, you’ll feel it!
Sencha Fukujyu is a classic Japanese sencha – intense, and grassy, like a tea broth. This tea grows on the slopes of the Fujiyama Mountains and is harvested in autumn mechanically removing the stems by hand so that only the leaves remain. It is carefully processed and lightly heated over steam before being rolled and dried. The leaf gets a very smooth and fine texture. If you like Japanese sencha, this one will be a good choice.
