Well, except maybe for the fact that it’s one of the most unique teas of western Rwanda, which is harvested by hand, steamed to inhibit fermentation and subjected to traditional processing. Green tea is the leaves of the tea plant whose oxidation has been stopped, so it retains not only its color, but also its specific flavor profile. The refreshing fruit and mineral notes in this tea are complemented by a touch of natural sweetness.
