Running up that hill
I’ve been into running for four years now, and ever since then, I’ve been looking at coffee from Kenya, the cradle of the fastest runners, in a different light!
I’m always eager to find out where the beans came from, and every time I’m thrilled that this year’s harvest tastes much better than last season’s. Sweet! This bean grew near the highest peak in Kenya, Mount Kenya—a stratovolcano. Rainforest covers the mountain up to 1,200 meters above sea level, and glaciers cover the highest peaks. Why keep talking about coffee when the world around it is so fascinating? How cool is that – our work takes us on such (even virtual) trips!
