Not only is there no caffeine, it’s not even tea!
We accept it because it’s so good to let go. And supposedly still healthy. But most of all, it’s good.
A blend of green rooibos (African red bush) and spices that tastes sweet and spicy, like something that will warm you up perfectly as a hot brew in winter, and be pleasantly refreshing as a cold brew in summer.
Rooibos originated in Africa and is not a tea, not even related to it, and local people used to brew it and drink it, then it stayed that way. The infusion contains no caffeine or tannins, green rooibos comes from the same plant as red rooibos, it differs only in the way the leaves are processed after harvesting. Green rooibos does not ferment, so it is lighter, and there are noticeable citrus notes in the taste.
