Like a well-assembled puzzle
You know, a picture in which there are no gaps or holes, everything fits together beautifully.
And just like in those puzzles – in order for this coffee to reach your hands, it took a lot of good people who wanted to put this puzzle together in the best possible way. The fact that we said it with appropriate sensitivity in Warsaw is one thing. But this coffee is mainly due to Raul – I had the opportunity to sleep on his farm and I know how much work he and all his relatives put into ensuring that their fruit is a blast. His partner Jola was responsible for shipping the coffee from Guatemala – it was also her job to ensure that these beans were with us and for you.
I’m always super stoked when we get coffee from El Llano or La Soledad – Raul’s parents’ farm. When we stayed overnight at their place, one day we made donuts for the whole family. This is what this coffee is like – dessert, sweet, and at the same time very clean and balanced.
