It’s delicious, even without jokes
We usually make jokes to make it even tastier – but here history does such a job that we don’t have to
As late as 2006, Bolivia exported 85,000 bags of green coffee. The ensuing years of crop failure hit the region very hard, with production dropping to 20,000 bags. When coca production became legal in some areas of Bolivia, many farmers abandoned coffee production altogether. Coca is more profitable for them: instead of one crop a year – five, and the margin itself is also much better in the case of coffee (I hope you know the price of this material only from stories).
When we first brew the samples of this coffee in our bar we were shocked. In taste, fruit fantasy-bomb-hit, so the bar was set really high from the very beginning – now our requirements are really high. Maybe that’s why we don’t get this origin often?
