Do you miss summer?

Well, you have summer in the drip.

What more could we say about coffee from Kenya than that it is a breath of summer? We could write a lot, but what for? The first sip resembles ripe fruit, and the second even more ripe – it is juicy and fruity. We have had beans from this region of Kenya in our offer many times. Gakuyu-Ini is located in Kirinyaga County in the central highlands of Kenya and is a member of the Thirikwa Cooperative Society.

The mill is located in a beautiful, fertile, forested place and is surrounded by thousands of small farms.

In Kenya, coffee cultivation is a kind of “side job”, often farmers simply have additional, tiny plots on which coffee grows. It is only in processing stations – mills – that cherry selection and processing take place. In Kenya, the main processing method is traditional washed. Thanks to this, coffees are clean in taste, with emphasized acidity.
This Kenya Gakuyu-Ini is welcoming you to the fruit buffet!
