Do you miss the classics?
Here it is, classical music among coffees, among farms, among others!
Let’s start with the fact that if you are a full-time doctor, you set up a school and a coffee plantation in the middle of the forest, you are the tough son of the planet. Actually, you are like Jorge Vides who founded the La Bolsa farm in 1958. The school is still operating, the farm is still operating, coffee is grown there by the third generation of the Vides family and it is not a position by acquisitive prescription, because they are also triumphant today – in the Cup of Excellence in 2002, coffee won 94.98 points from them, which gave them the second place.
And we are like psychophiles of the Vides team, that’s why we bought three lots from La Bolsa!
La Bolsa is situated between two mountains which provide a very stable, humid microclimate. This, combined with the soils rich in limestone, gives the coffee a unique profile, with a rich syrupy body, pronounced nutty and pleasant acidity of the red fruit. The coffee is fermented for 18 to 24 hours, then cleared of its flesh and sorted according to size. And we have a washed Guatemala, as it looks.
This is a coffee for those who love the classics or want to learn something about life.
