The Los Pirineos coffee farm has been in the hands of Baraon family for over 120 years, since 1880. Gilberto Baraona is a 15-time Cup of Excellence winner in El Salvador, his 6 coffees were in the top ten. The farm is located on the top of the Tecapa volcano, in the Tecapa Chinameca coffee region. It is mainly the location – the soil rich in mineral salts – and the black honey treatment that we owe a large amount of sweetness in this coffee. It is worth mentioning that Gilberto’s commitment to quality is uncompromising. Has the largest coffee seed bank in private hands in El Salvador and is constantly testing and discovering new options for the unique character of the cup. We work with great excitement with Falcon Coffee, thanks to which we have this unique seed and we hope to expand the offer with coffees from its farmers in the coming years.
